The library has digitized handwritten minutes from town meetings between 1702 and 1893. Warrants for meetings, including summons for the Selectmen’s appointed town officers to be sworn in, are also included.
Some of these records correspond to the transcribed versions available at Archive.org (see especially Volume 7 and Volume 8). However, the original documents capture margin notes and corrections, as well as the arrangement of the documents in the library’s collection.
Minutes from more recent meetings of Town Council and other boards, commissions, and committees are available in the town’s online Archive Center.
