November is Teen Read Month at the Watertown Public Library! The American Library Association has set aside a month in the fall to celebrate reading for teens. Beginning November 1stthose in grades 6-12 can earn chances for new books, gift cards and gift certificates from online stores and area businesses. This program is a collaboration between the Watertown Middle School and the Library.
Two ways to participate:
Download Hoopla on your phone. This free app allows you access to e-books, audiobooks, and more. Show your phone to a Teen staff member at the library and get a chance!
Finish a book. Any kind counts--book, e-book, audiobook, or graphic novel. Fill out a book receipt to get a chance to win! Turn in your book receipt to a Teen staff member of the Watertown Free Public Library. You can get book receipt forms at the Middle School Library or the Watertown Free Public Library.
Backpacks full of brand new books.
Gift Certificates to The Red Leaf Café, the Comic Stop, Amazon, CVS, Starbucks, and more.
