Become a Volunteer
Project Literacy tutors are caring members of our community who provide an important service to adult learners, especially immigrants. Our volunteer tutors are fluent in English and are willing to spend two hours a week with adult learners.
We ask tutors to make a one-year commitment. There is a 15 hours pre-service training. We typically have one training in the fall and one in the spring. The trainings are from 6-9 pm. Attendance at all sessions is required.
