WATERTOWN COMMUNITY ENERGY FORUM
October 2, 2013 Watertown Free Public Library 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Watertown invites community members to participate in the Watertown Community Energy 101 Forum held on October 2, from 6:30-8:30 pm. Hosted in the Watertown Free Public Library, the event marks the kick-off of the Watertown Community Energy Strategies Program. The Forum provides participants the opportunity to share their idea for the development of a comprehensive, community-wide Clean Energy Roadmap. Watertown has been a clean energy leader and your participation in this event will help shape the future direction of energy efforts in the town.
The Watertown Community Energy Strategies Program is an initiative developed by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) in collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) Green Communities Division. It provides local residents and businesses an opportunity to work with city leaders to identify, assess, and enable new energy efficiency, renewable energy, and renewable heating and cooling projects and programs to serve the Watertown community.
