Tax Forms at the WFPL

For the convenience of our patrons, The Watertown Free Public Library carries tax forms each year during tax season. We have begun receiving some of the forms, but have also received word from the IRS that the primary family of forms (1040) have been significantly delayed. and there is, as yet, no expected date for them. Rest assured, we will have them available just as soon as the IRS ships them to us!

Here's the message from the IRS, dated January 8, 2013:

"The production of some 2012 major tax products, including the Form 1040 and the Instructions for Form 1040, is impacted by the recent passage of the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012. At this time, we do not have an estimate as to when products will become available on IRS.gov or in print.
