Copy, Scan, Print
The WFPL has a flatbed public photocopier available for use in the Adult Department. It costs $0.15 per page and accepts coins and dollar bills. It prints black and white documents on letter and legal sized paper and has the capability to print on both sides.
The Teen Department has one computer that is equipped with an Epson scanner and Adobe Photoshop Elements.
The Adult Department has a touch screen BookScan station that has the capability of scanning multiple B&W or color documents, up to 11” by 17”. This station is also equipped with a BulletScan rapid document scanner for use with the BookScan. BulletScan allows users to scan many individual pages quickly. Scanned documents can be emailed, saved to a flash drive, or uploaded to Google Drive. Files may be saved in the following formats: PDF, Searchable PDF, Word, TIFF, JPEG or HTML. For assistance, please ask at the Reference Desk.
Each library department has its own color printer available. Patrons may print up to two black & white pages for free per day. Each page after that is $0.10 for black & white or $0.40 for color.
- How to print from our desktops: Use the print button to print the document or webpage like you normally would. The first two black & white pages will automatically be sent to the printer, and a dialog box will remind you to pick them up. If you are printing more than two pages, a dialog box will appear. The dialog box will indicate how much the charge will be. (If the existing balance on your print account is not sufficient to cover the cost of the print job, the dialog box will prompt you to add money to your account.) Press “yes” to print or press “no” to cancel your job. If the balance on your print account is not sufficient to cover the cost of the print job, click "no" to cancel the job. You may submit the job again after you have added money to your print account
- How to add money to your print account: For printing in the Adult Department, simply go over to the Payment Station computer near the printer that has the coin box attached to it. Click the “Add Money to My Account” button and follow the instructions on the screen. Teens may add money to their accounts by going to the Circulation Desk and children may add money to their accounts by going to the Children’s Circulation Desk.
