The Lazy Couponer

The Lazy Couponer: How to Save Over $25,000 per year in just 45 minutes each week by Jamie Chase

Internet coupons, Sunday inserts, store coupons, manufacturer coupons…where to start? The world of couponing can be confusing and overwhelming. In her book, Ms. Chase explains every step of couponing without going to extremes—as she says, “no stockpiling, no sales-chasing, and no item tracking”. Using easy language and pictures, she walks the potential couponer through shopping scenarios at many of the major grocery chains, as well as larger stores. She demystifies abbreviations with a glossary and provides tips on how to find coupons and organize your shopping so that it doesn’t take hours each week.

As an added bonus, Ms. Chase will present her shopping strategies IN PERSON at the Watertown Free Public Library on Saturday, November 10 from 1-2:30 p.m. This program is free and does not require registration. For more information, please contact the Reference Desk at 617-972-6436.

The library has one public computer that allows coupon printing. With your library card, you receive two free prints per day—that’s up to six free printable coupons!
