Discover a new mystery

Have you felt that your favorite authors don’t write fast enough to keep you in books? Or, do you feel like you’re in a reading rut and need to shake it up a bit?

I’m always excited when I discover a new author that I like, especially if he or she has written a ton of books so that I’m not in the position of anxiously awaiting a new one after I’ve devoured the others. This is what happened with Louise Penny’s Inspector Gamache series, but now I’ve caught up.

I thought that I’d give you a little list of some not-as-well-known authors whom you might like to try. Please let me know what you think, and also comment on any authors you love that others should try.

Imogen Robertson: Crowther and Westerman series; set in England; historical.

Kerry Greenwood: Phryne Fisher series; set in Australia; historical.

Alex Grecian: Murder Squad series; Historical Scotland Yard.

Harry Bingham: Fiona Griffiths series; set in Wales; contemporary.

And last, but not least, please check out Kieran Shields' Archie Lean series (pictured at the top); set in Portland, ME; historical.
