New Daytime Book Group
The library is pleased to bring you a new book group for the mornings. The Double Shot Daytime book group meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 10 AM. We’ll read two books together: a classic and a new interpretation.
For December 3rd, the books are Little Women and March, by Geraldine Brooks. |

Massachusetts Library License Plates
Support Massachusetts libraries by buying a Massachusetts Library License Plate. Apply before Nov. 30, and you might win a chance to have a character named after you by famous authors Lois Lowry or Gregory Maguire. |

Book Sale Online
The Watertown Library is now selling books online through librarybooksales.org. Check out the list of titles currently for sale. All pricing, posting, and packaging are done by library volunteers, and the proceeds go toward the Library Building Fund. |

Volunteers Needed to Sell Books in the Cafe
The library urgently needs volunteers to sell books on weekday evenings from 7-9 PM. See here for more information.
The next time you come to the Library be sure to visit the Book Store Café . The Café serves food Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Read more about the Café. |

Gallery Exhibit: Yes They Can
This November, the gallery will be exhibiting historical photos collected by Alan R. Earls of the women who worked in the Watertown Arsenal during times of war, before women were historically part of the workforce. |

Library Bags For Sale
The Library Building Fund committee is selling book bags in the library cafe. The two-tone bags have the new library logo proudly displayed. The bags are sturdy and attractive. They are only $6 each and the proceeds benefit the library. |
